David is a health systems expert with experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors. David’s early work focused on public health in conflict and humanitarian settings including Sudan, Ethiopia and Nicaragua. He has worked as an adviser for the Department for International Development (DFID) and the European Commission (EC) on issues including HIV/AIDS, reproductive and maternal health.

David is the founder and managing director of MANNIONDANIELS, a global development consultancy and fund manager with operational bases in the UK, Kenya, Nigeria, Somalia and Cyprus. Currently, he is providing strategic advice to governments, international organisations and businesses on health systems strengthening, eHealth and organisational management. David’s key areas of expertise include health sector policy and planning, public health and neglected tropical diseases, sustainability leadership, governance and organisational strategy and fund management.
